CHUCK THE TRUCK
Modifications & Accessories:
Chuck the Truck has been the name of both of JR’s F-150s. As a child, he dreamed of driving big rigs and his father taught him to drive on Isuzu work trucks and Jeepneys in the Philippines. When he landed in Canada in ’08 and laid eyes on the F150s, he promised himself that he’d drive one someday and he’s had two: an ’11 Ingot Silver and now a ’15 Ruby Red. The first morning he had V2.0, he “tinkered to convert my low beam & fog halogen bulbs into LEDs.” Then he immediately added: “mud flaps, rear well liners, weatherproof floor liners, & window and hood deflectors for starters.” He calls this selection “functional, yet sets it apart from stock appearance right away.” His favourite brands are “Bulletproof and Trigger Industries”. He likes to “support

Alberta-made companies.” His favourite add-ons are “the Ballistic Jester 12 offset wheels and the Bushwacker flares with Recon marker lights.” While he is satisfied with the exterior, he wants “to change the internal components such as AFE cold air intake, Borla/Corsa/Gibson dual exhaust and tuner to complement my 5.0!” He first felt the thrill of his dream ride when “people started taking notice of it, they’d turn their heads, want you to roll down your windows just to say how nice of a truck it is! Hard work paid off!” He is a member of several Alberta F150 groups. He states that “joining these groups sparked my interest more and pushed me to customize my ride & set it apart.” They’ve offered “tons of shared knowledge and experience” too. He admits to enjoying a “bit of drifting during and after huge snowfalls” as well as going to meets. He loves driving the logging roads near Invermere, BC:” Bumpy, washboard roads, scenic views, twisty turns along the cliff side running at 80-100 kph. when nobody’s watching!”
